G'day all,
30-something,gay,proud uncle, tree hugger living in a cabin over looking the Mississippi. Nice job working with plants and people. Like everyone I have had my ups and downs, but have a wonderful support network of friends and family that is always there. Love travelling, especially cherish Vancouver, the Pacific Northwest,San Diego, Catalina Island,Australia and New Zealand.
I don't use peoples real names, with the exception of other lj users and my own. It just seems better to use alias and nicknames.
The moon is my niece
The sun is my nephew,
Savy, River and Brenjo are my little cousins
and so on......................
A man was walking along a deserted beach at sunset. As he walked he could see a young boy in the distance. As he drew nearer he noticed that the boy kept bending down, picking something up and throwing it into the water. Time and again he kept hurling things into the ocean.
As the man approached even closer, he was able to see that the boy was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach. One at a time he was throwing them back into the water.
The man asked the boy what he was doing. The boy explained that the starfish would die if left stranded. "But there are miles of beach and thousands of starfish," the man said. "You can't possibly make a difference." The boy smiled, bent down and picked up another starfish, and as he threw it back into the sea, he replied,
"I made a difference to that one."

I don't want this to sound morbid, but if I should kick the bucket unexpectedly, would some one please please make sure my family gets a copy on disk of this journal. It is just I want my loved ones, my wee ones, etc.... to know what I have written about them. I want them to know how deeply I loved and marveled at all of them.Much of what I post is silly and fluff, but some of it is heart felt. I have saved it from time to time, but if something unexpected should happen, please contact my cousin at kurtnjac@yahoo.com for my password and help me out. Thanks.
